Getting Started

Most practices are up and running in under 15 minutes. Create your account, complete Stripe identity verification, and you're ready to start collecting payments.

No. PatientPayments™ is entirely web-based. There's nothing to install — just sign in from any browser on your computer, tablet, or phone.

No long-term contracts. All plans are month-to-month — we just ask for 30 days' notice to cancel. There are no setup fees or cancellation fees.

Yes. Our Starter and Growth plans have no monthly fee — you only pay a small technology fee on transactions. You can start collecting payments immediately with zero upfront cost.

Pricing & Fees

We offer three plans. Starter and Growth have no monthly fee and charge a 2% technology fee per transaction — on Starter the patient pays it, on Growth your practice pays it. Pro is $299/month per location with zero technology fees. Our technology integrates with Stripe for secure payment processing.

Stripe charges standard payment processing fees: 2.9% + 30¢ per successful card charge and 0.8% per ACH bank transfer (capped at $5). These are separate from PatientPayments™ technology fees and are charged by Stripe directly. Your practice is the merchant of record — Stripe deposits funds directly to your bank account.

On the Starter plan, the fee is added to the patient's payment amount. On the Growth plan, your practice absorbs the fee so patients see clean, round numbers. On Pro, there is no technology fee.

No. What you see on our pricing page is what you pay. No setup fees, no cancellation fees, no monthly minimums, and no long-term contracts.

Payment Plans

You create a payment plan for a patient with a total balance, number of installments, and due dates. The patient provides a payment method through a secure Stripe-hosted page, and installments are charged automatically on schedule.

Yes. You can create shareable payment plan links that patients can access from any device. They enter their information, set up a payment method through Stripe, and enrollment is automatic.

Failed payments are automatically retried. If a payment continues to fail after multiple attempts, the plan is marked as past due and you're notified so you can follow up with the patient.

Membership Plans

Membership plans let you offer in-house subscription programs — like a dental savings plan. Patients pay a recurring fee (monthly or annually) and receive benefits like discounted or included services. It's a great way to build recurring revenue and retain uninsured patients.

Yes. Memberships support dependents — a subscriber can add a spouse, children, or other family members. Each dependent gets their own benefit allotment based on the plan configuration.

Benefits reset automatically based on the interval you configure — monthly, annually, per billing cycle, or one-time. There's nothing to manually reset; the system tracks usage and calculates remaining benefits in real time.

Security & Compliance

Yes. We follow HIPAA guidelines for handling protected health information. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, access is role-based, and we maintain audit trails for compliance.

We never see or store card numbers. All payment method collection happens on Stripe-hosted pages, which keeps our PCI scope minimal. Card data is stored securely by Stripe — one of the largest and most trusted payment processors in the world.

Absolutely. Every practice operates in a fully isolated tenant environment with row-level security enforced at the database level. Your data is never accessible to other practices.

Integrations & PMS Sync

We support 80+ practice management systems across dental, chiropractic, optometry, veterinary, physician, and financial platforms. Visit our integrations page for the full list.

PMS sync is coming soon. When launched, it will automatically sync patient records and post payments back to your practice management system, eliminating double entry.

Yes. PatientPayments™ works as a standalone platform. You can manually add patients and manage everything from your dashboard. PMS integration is optional and will simply automate what you're already doing.

DSOs, Multi-Location & Groups

Yes. During onboarding you can indicate that you have multiple locations, and you can add additional locations at any time from your dashboard. Each location has its own address, phone number, and patient roster while sharing a single account and billing relationship.

On the Starter and Growth plans, the 2% technology fee applies across all locations — there's no per-location charge. On the Pro plan, the $299/month fee is per location. Add-ons like Text-To-Pay are also priced per location.

Each organization connects a single Stripe account during onboarding. All locations under that organization process payments through the same Stripe merchant account, with funds deposited to the same bank account.

Yes. Our Enterprise plan offers custom pricing, dedicated support, and flexible terms for dental service organizations and large multi-location groups. Contact us to discuss your needs.

Yes. Your dashboard gives you a centralized view across all locations. You can manage patients, payment plans, memberships, and reporting from a single login, with the ability to filter by location.

Your reporting dashboard provides both organization-wide and per-location views. You can see total revenue, payment plan collections, membership revenue, and transaction history across all locations at a glance, or drill down into an individual location to see its specific performance. Filter by date range, payment type, and status to get exactly the data you need.

Patients interact with the specific location where they receive care. Payment links, receipts, and communications display the location name and contact information, keeping the experience personal and familiar.

Users & Permissions

There's no limit on the number of users. Add as many team members as you need at no extra cost — there are no per-user fees on any plan.

PatientPayments™ has two levels of access. Admins can manage users, access all locations, configure settings, and view organization-wide reporting. Staff users can manage patients, payment plans, and memberships at the locations they're assigned to.

Yes. Staff users are assigned to specific locations and can only see patients and data for those locations. Admins have access across all locations by default.

Users sign in with a secure email and password. Authentication is handled through our identity provider with industry-standard security, including encrypted credentials and session management.

Yes. Admins can deactivate a user at any time from the dashboard. Deactivated users immediately lose access and can be reactivated later if needed.
